Audi A6 adblue pump errors. I recently had the engine management light come up on my 161 A6. I put 10L of adblue into it myself and 3 days later the light came on. I brought it to a local guy I know that worked with Audi Cork until last year and he had the diagnostics reader. There was 4/5 faults on it about the pump and low pressure. I head back home and planned to drive straight to the dealer. About 1/3 of the way there, the orange 'ad blue' warning changes to red and the message says once I stop the car, it won't restart until I ad more ad blue. About 2/3rds of they way to the dealer, the red light goes away and the generic 'check engine' light comes on instead.Adblue fault – 21-08-2015, 03:57 PM. So my 64 plate A6 ultra has had inspection service and Adlue top up. One day later, Adblue warning message, no restart in 600 miles. Back to the Audi dealer, oh yeah, this is an issue with some of the 1St Ultras, so they change the Adblue sensor, doesn't clear it, I am now without the car for the weekend

There’s two sending units one in front of the tank one in back. The left rear sending unit float needs replaced. Mine broke filling the car up while running. Also heard using the wrong gas can do this
And then, if you want to save some money on the AdBlue, save an empty 1/2 gallon bottle. Cut the bottom out to use as a funnel to to fill the tank. Get the 2.5 gallon jug of AdBlue, aka Diesel Exhaust Fluid, from an Audi dealer for $13.50; and use it to top off or fill the tank through the modified 1/2 gallon bottle 'funnel'. The sensor detects the gap between the fluid and the top of the tank, and if the fluid is touching the top of the tank, this can prevent the initial resetting of the system. If this is the case after driving for twenty miles or so the level should have dropped sufficiently to then reset the system in the normal way. i.e Hallo, ich habe ein Problem mit einem 3.0TDI 190kw Motor.
