Adding to what @SteveH mentioned, it is very possible that it could be because the phone is not on the supported devices list. If the phone fulfills the minimum requirements there is a chance that it could sync, but we cannot guarantee it. The minimum requirements are Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0.
