I wasn’t a big fan of this game in general, and the difficulty was pretty mediocre for a game that was touted among the best romhacks currently. The story was actually really good, but the difficulty was nothing too special. Pokemon Sors: Pokemon Sors is the follow-up game from Pokemon Saiph mentioned earlier, and made by the same creator. The Best Pokemon Games, Ranked. By Steve Watts on March 2, 2023 at 7:45AM PST. One of the most popular game series of all time, Pokemon has become a global phenomenon. Legends Arceus is a different type of game. But I think you’ll appreciate it more after playing a more traditional game. Scarlet and Violet is the most modern and thus has the most QoL, however it won’t give you at all a taste of what 90% of the games are like. For that reason Brilliant Diamond/Shinning Pearl would be much better as a first
A lot of mechanics have been changed and revamped. It is the game I would recommend and I found it the most fun. New Pokemon Snap is great if you like simple rail shooters and amazing graphics. Mystery Dungeon DX is very similar to the original Mystery Dungeon games but with some new/updated mechanics.
All the ones on switch are pretty easy. Diamond and pearl are really hard at the very end only for no reason. Sword and shield and Scarlet F Violet are easy. Scarlet and Violet are open ended which is fun but also might be confusing for a younger kid. Other than Pokemon, Mario games are fun for everyone.Gameboy/GBA Games on Switch. I really wish we had a way to download or buy Gameboy games on Switch, in some sort of release if not Nintendo Switch Online. Seeing as the DS was just discontinued, Nintendo no longer has a handheld line at all. All of and every handheld game is now unplayable on current devices, which puts Gameboy games at just as
Switch games that run great on the Steam Deck. For whoever's interested, here is a list of switch games that run great on Yuzu (60fps, barely any stutter & quick loading times) The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (slight graphical issues) Kirby and The Forgotten Lands (better with mods/crashes/can have visual issues)
Most of the most played games on switch work just fine on Yuzu, as others have listed I actually finished Super Mario Odyssey on it and played a lot of Pokemon Shield, Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart 8 DX Oddysey has an 'okay' rating for compatibility. Mario kart and smash have 'bad' ratings.
Sword and Shield have the most content that doesn't suck, and they're pretty decent as Pokemon games in a classic sense go. Although, I'd play Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire if you can. Scarlet and Violet are also good, I'd pick Violet just because it goes better with the story's vibes. Just make sure you like robots.
Best pokémon game for long-term gameplay (Switch) I understand maybe a bit of an odd question since like most pokemon fans have all the games and played all the games but i want to fully complete a pokemon to its absolute extent. In multiple forms such as objectives, checklists, side quests, shinies, exclusives, and living dex. vUju.
